Since 2012, our founder has been the Town of Český Brod. On 1 January 2020, we became part of the contributory organization Centre for Education, Information and Culture (CVIK). You can find us on the ground floor of the building No. 1 on Arnošt's Square in Pardubice, where barrier-free access is provided.
We are a member of the Association of Tourist Information Centres (ATIC) and hold a certificate in category C within the unified classification. Our main activities include the promotion of the town of Český Brod and its local organizations, providing information to tourists and residents of the town and its catchment region. We are also involved in the provision of cultural events and other related services.
Part of the information centre is the unconventional Šatlava Gallery, which was created in the premises of the former municipal prison. We also have a renovated multifunctional hall, which is a popular venue for wedding ceremonies, town council meetings, lectures, seminars and meetings of citizens within the University of the Third Age. Computer courses and various cultural and educational events are also held here. The multifunctional hall and the Šatlava gallery are available for rent according to the current price list. From September 2022, it is temporarily not possible to use the premises of the multifunctional hall and the Šatlava gallery due to reconstruction.
You can visit us every weekday according to the current opening hours, in the summer tourist season from May to September we also provide weekend operation.
