He was born in Český Brod.He was graduate of architecture and urbanism in Prague. While still a student of architecture andurban planning in Prague, he participated in the decoration of the Český Brod falconry. However,he became most famous as a co-author of the Municipal House in Prague.The Podlipanské Museum was built according to the project of a native of České Brod.
