Kolín beet groove

The oldest beet canal, built in 1894, led from the Kolín sugar factory to Býchor, Ovčár and Jestřábí Lhoty. It was abolished in the 1960s. In 2007, it was completely restored and a museum exhibition
was added, in which visitors can learn not only about the history of trains, but also about the history of the sugar industry.
Currently, the track consists of 4.5 km of narrow-gauge track, along which you can ride in a steam train or a diesel-powered train.
