History
The founding of the České Brod Sokol Union dates back to 1870. At that time, the members hadno base and met in the halls of local inns. However, their ranks grew and the inns slowly ceased tobe enough for gatherings.In April 1884, the plan for the construction of the own falconry was approved according to the project of the local architect Jan Koula, and construction began in same year.
Contemporaneity
The museum exhibits show the memorable battle of Lipan (30 May 1434), the Slavic forts in Pošembeří and the interesting oriental collection of the traveler Josef Zounk.
