Tuchoraz castle

The basis for the construction of the Gothic castle was the fortress, exposed at the beginning of the 15th century. During the Thirty Years' War, the castle, then already the seat of the nobility, was besieged by Swedish troops.In 1923, the castle area was entrusted to the care of the buyer of the remaining estate here, later it was owned by the agricultural cooperative and the regional institute for heritage care. In the 1980s, the tower was repaired and opened to the public.
