Meat shops

History

At the end of the 13th century, there were a total of 13 butcher shops in the alley. The merchants certainly prospered, because in the second half of the 16th century there were already 28 of these
shops. The entrance gate, which is decorated with a relief of the butcher's guild, has survived from this time.
