St. Gothard's church

History

The single-nave Romanesque church was built by Prague bishop Jan I. It was rebuilt into a Gothic church in the 14th century. In 1421, the church was burned with 200 people hiding there. In 1512 it was burned again. Major reconstructions took place in the 17th century during the Renaissance period.

Contemporaneity

The Roman Catholic Church holds regular services here on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays
from 6:00 p.m. and on Sundays from 9:30 a.m.
